FAQ

Straight answers before any calibration begins

The exact answer depends on the vehicle, software and condition. These are the principles we apply before giving vehicle-specific advice.

01 Identify

Start with the registration

The Car Database gives us the right model path; software identification and the health check confirm the final scope.

02 Measure

Ask what is being measured

Power figures without test conditions or a clear baseline are easy to misunderstand.

Questions

Is every remap custom?

Every calibration we install is prepared and adjusted by our own tuners for the vehicle, its software, hardware, condition and driver brief.

Do you have a rolling road?

We have a Dyno Developments 2WD chassis dyno, a MAHA LPS 2000 4WD chassis dyno and on-car dyno equipment. Our MAHA LPS 2000 4WD rolling road is available to book. Contact the workshop to confirm vehicle suitability and arrange your session.

Are you based in Cardiff?

We serve Cardiff from South Wales Dyno Centre in Cowbridge. We do not claim to operate a Cardiff workshop.

Will a remap fix a fault?

No. A calibration is not a substitute for diagnosis or repair. Vehicle condition is considered before tuning.

Can you quote from a registration?

A registration is the best starting point. The exact software, condition, modifications and objective can still affect the final scope.
